This piece serves as a visual prelude to my works.

Displayed as a 1:1 scale wallpaper attached to the wall at the entrance of my diploma, "Fantômes d'espaces" is a photograph taken just before my enrollment in art school, as I was leaving my former home.

After almost twenty years of living in that place, the moved furniture and frames reveal a discoloration of the wallpaper caused by sunlight and the passage of time. This premonitory image encompasses many of the themes of my work: memory, the writing of time, displacement, etc.
