This second chapter breaks free from the paper and becomes an installation of paintings on the walls.

Displayed as a musical score, each painting mimics a note, with its vertical position (pitch) and length (duration).

As a final nod to the ”First Contact” exhibition in Mottaket, in Ålesund, and to Spielberg’s ”Close Encounter of the Third Kind” movie, these paintings depict the musical theme composed by John Williams to welcome the aliens.
